Effect of Simulated Transport Conditions on Microbiological Properties of Bottled Natural Mineral Water

نویسندگان

چکیده

Bottled mineral water is distributed globally through complex supply chains, making it available far beyond its bottling plants. In low-viscosity food matrices, invisible changes may occur due to shaking. The primary purpose of this research was investigate the potential correlation between intensity mechanical agitation and number detectable microorganisms in bottled water. simulation dynamic vibration conducted using both time-accelerated real-time tests. Freshly natural commercially brands from different locations times were subjected random at three intensities as specified by ASTM D-4169-16 standard, which simulates road transport on semi-trailer trucks. study investigated specific growth rate, generation time, maximum cell numbers microorganisms. quantitative PCR (qPCR) technique used determine compare concentrations microbes. Dynamic affected microbiome waters, influencing rates times. case waters times, rate varied significantly for each intensity. This finding demonstrates that composition source interaction microbes influence response impact. test shown be suitable analyzing reaction tested matrix duration vibration. applied protocol enabled monitoring qPCR. All method effective testing effects microbiome.

Microbiological safety of bottled mineral water in patients susceptible to infections.

We evaluated the microbiological safety of bottled mineral water products commercially available in Japan. Of 10 bottled mineral water products manufactured in Japan, no bacteria or fungi were detected in 9 (90%), but 1 (10%) contained 1.8x10(3) colony-forming units (cfu)/mL. Of 12 bottled mineral water products manufactured in the EU, 11 (91.7%) contained 23-3.5x10(4) cfu/mL. On the other hand...
